Library + Information Update

Hittade en intressant tidskrift via CILIP idag, "Library + Information Update". Jag vill särskilt tipsa om två artiklar:
"Are public libraries dumbing down?"
som innehåller intressanta resonemang kring hur vi bygger upp våra samlingar på biblioteken idag samt "Implementing RFID at Leeds Meet" ( - RFID ur ett universitetsbiblioteks perspektiv) , ingressen lyder: "What benefits does the introduction of radio frequency identification bring to students, staff and university, and what should you be looking for in a supplier? Helen Loughran and Dilys Young take us through the Leeds Met experience."

Presentation av tidskriften:
"Editorially independent of CILIP, Update is designed with the needs of individual Members in mind. It brings you industry news, comment and debate on the big issues of the day where they impact on the library and information scene. It will keep you up to date on everything that affects the library and information profession, whatever your interest. Update covers everything from policy issues, the political landscape or changes in technology to what you need to know for your personal professional development. Update is delivered to all CILIP members and is also avaialable by suscription to non-members."
